Got to attend the Hotel Transylvania artist panel this morning.  All the artist were really friendly and the artwork shown was amazing. I got my poster signed and had a few doodles from them.

Aviatik Berg

I wanted to do some hard edge modeling after the hippo so I decided to tackle my first airplane.  This is a Aviatik Berg, used by the Austrians in WWI. I got the blueprints from www.the-blueprints.com which has tons of different prints and orthographic views for many objects.

Pretty much done with the base model. Now I'm going to throw it into mudbox and add more details

One of my favorite places in Los Angeles so far.  It has an observatory, the zoo, and many trails to go hiking.
